Questions about Thassos White 8"
How much does one piece of Thassos White 8" cover?
Each piece of Thassos White 8" covers 0.5 sq ft. The calculator above turns your square footage into whole pieces and adds 15% for cuts.
Can I use Thassos White 8" on a floor?
Yes. Thassos White 8" is rated for floors.
Does Thassos White 8" need sealing?
Yes. Thassos White 8" is natural marble: seal it with a penetrating sealer at installation and again when water stops beading on the surface. Sealer slows stains; it does not stop etching from acids such as lemon juice or vinegar, so wipe spills promptly.
Will Thassos White 8" look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical: natural marble varies in veining and tone from piece to piece. Order a sample first, buy everything you need at once so it comes from one batch, and blend pieces from several boxes as you install.
What is the minimum order for Thassos White 8", and how does it ship?
The minimum is 115 pieces (57.5 sq ft). Each piece weighs about 3 lb, so 58 or more pieces ship by freight on a pallet (curbside, with a liftgate, by appointment); smaller orders ship by parcel. Shipping is priced at checkout from the weight and your ZIP code.
Can I get a sample of Thassos White 8" first?
Yes. Choose Sample above: one tile for $4.99 plus shipping. When you order the tile (orders over $300), we credit the $4.99 back.
