Questions about Multi Color Indian
How much does one set of Multi Color Indian cover?
Each set of Multi Color Indian covers 16 sq ft. The calculator above turns your square footage into whole sets and adds 15% for cuts.
Can I use Multi Color Indian on a floor?
Yes. Multi Color Indian is rated for floors.
Does Multi Color Indian need sealing?
Yes. Multi Color Indian is natural slate: seal it with a penetrating sealer at installation and again when water stops beading on the surface.
Will Multi Color Indian look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical: natural slate varies in veining and tone from piece to piece. Order a sample first, buy everything you need at once so it comes from one batch, and blend pieces from several boxes as you install.
What is the minimum order for Multi Color Indian, and how does it ship?
The minimum is 5 sets (80 sq ft). Each set weighs about 112 lb, so 2 or more sets ship by freight on a pallet (curbside, with a liftgate, by appointment); smaller orders ship by parcel. Shipping is priced at checkout from the weight and your ZIP code.
Can I get a sample of Multi Color Indian first?
Yes. Choose Sample above: one tile for $4.99 plus shipping. When you order the tile (orders over $300), we credit the $4.99 back.
